Vince Zampella, a Gaming Pioneer, Has Died in a Los Angeles Traffic Collision
The visionary game developer, renowned for co-creating the globally famous first-person shooter Call of Duty, has died in a traffic collision in Los Angeles, California he was 55 years old.
Zampella's death was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.
The renowned game designer died after his car crashed and burst into flames on a freeway in Los Angeles on Sunday morning, US media outlets report.
"This is a heartbreaking loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's loved ones, his loved ones, and the countless individuals inspired by his creative vision," a representative from Electronic Arts commented.
