Star Denies Anti-Vax Stance After Narrating Controversial Coronavirus Feature

Liam Neeson has given his narration to a feature-length documentary that questions the safety of vaccines and praises ex- health official RFK Jr.

The Film's Disputed Basis

Named "Plague of Corruption," the project is inspired by a bestselling book published by a controversial scientist, who gained notoriety during the global outbreak for allegations that Covid was linked to a faulty batch of the flu vaccine.

Her writing partner, Kent Heckenlively, has previously authored books with controversial radio host Alex Jones. The producer recently posted celebrating Neeson's involvement in the documentary.

An Unequivocal Statement

Representatives for the actor have provided a comment firmly refuting claims that he supports anti-vaccine views.

"We all understand that misconduct may occur within the pharmaceutical industry, but that must not be confused with being against vaccines," the statement reads. "Liam has never been, and cannot be described as, against vaccines. His long work with the global charity reinforces his enduring support for public-health initiatives."

The statement added that the star did not shape the documentary's narrative and that concerns about its assertions ought to go to the filmmakers.

Central Claims In the Film

According to the documentary, the voiceover read by Neeson features several provocative statements:

  • It suggests that pro-vaccine voices have insisted on "complete compliance" to government bodies.
  • It argues that "research has become highly politicised."
  • RFK Jr is featured stating, "The major issue with vaccines is that they just aren't adequately tested."
  • The narration further attacks pandemic restrictions, claiming they caused severe distress that resulted in thousands of lives.
  • On the topic of the immunizations, it references a report that they were "hurriedly approved" and seen as "risky trials."

Historical Context and Recent Debates

The documentary further cites a historical film about HIV drug testing on children, which was afterwards the subject of a formal apology by the corporation for editorial breaches.

Last month, Kennedy directed the national health agency to revise its official position that there is no causal relationship between immunizations and autism spectrum disorder. This claim is also referenced in the film, even with a fresh analysis from the global health body confirming no evidence has been found.

An Earlier Record of Endorsement

Contrasting the film's message, Neeson has previously shown clear advocacy for vaccines in his position as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador.

In 2022, he called vaccines as "an extraordinary triumph," adding that "The debate about vaccines in lately has overlooked how much benefit they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest human endeavors in human history."

The film ends with Neeson's voice saying, "This marks not the conclusion of our journey. Rather, it is the beginning of a different phase."
