In a surprising collaboration that challenges usual forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Uncovered

According to the official announcement, "An unusual confrontation leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where hints of prohibited practices and monstrous changes echo through the shadows." The plot presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a secret cult.

The questline centers on "peculiar trials and a terrifying enemy" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Changes

The preview features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser finishes with a powerful scene showing a character, likely the hostage, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Rewards and Bonus Content

Players who successfully complete the adventure will receive an exclusive katana in addition to multiple artifacts concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

• Mikasa costume for Naoe

Newest Free Story Update

This patch also brings the game's newest free story episode, titled "The Mystery."
